We all know that our hiring managers should have decent interview and selection skills to avoid costly hiring mistakes. Even if an agency has been engaged to supply you with a shortlist of pre-qualified candidates, the final decision will be made by internal personnel with a more in-depth understanding of the company. Yet, even this doesn’t prevent poor hiring decisions. This is because many hiring managers don’t understand the science and art of interviewing.
