This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Internal Sales Manager to join a global multi-million pound distribution company based in Wednesbury.

This role would suit a charismatic Internal Sales Manager who has a strong background in sales management.  Applicants should have proven experience of having managed Team Leaders and Supervisory staff, and enjoy driving a sales team forward, ideally within a call centre or contact centre environment.

The successful candidate should be able to think strategically, be customer focused, enjoy developing talent and have the ability to communicate effectively. 

There is the opportunity to benefit from an excellent basic salary with uncapped OTE, plus an attractive benefits package.

Essential requirements:  The successful Internal Sales Manager will have:

  • Experience of effectively managing large numbers of proactive sales staff
  • Previous experience of managing 2nd tier management – i.e. team leaders and supervisors
  • The proven ability to grow sales, achieve deadlines and reach targets
  • The skills to develop and maintain customer relationships
  • The ability to demand respect from and inspire trust within the team
  • Experience of overcoming setbacks
  • Experience of inspiring and encouraging team members to use initiative and come up with new ideas
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.

The duties of the Internal Sales Manager are:

  • To set and manage departmental objectives and effectively manage direct reports
  • Achieve deadlines and targets, address performance issues sensitively and constructively
  • Develop effective and positive working relationships
    • To lead, develop and inspire the Internal Sales Team, with focus on the Supervisory Team
    • To achieve sales and margin targets, creating long term profitable sales growth
    • Maintain team priorities when setbacks occur
    • Act as a role model in relation to new sales techniques and strategies
    • Continually seek to improve working practices and processes
    • Set monthly, quarterly targets for your area
    • Any other duties in line with business and departmental needs.


Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 basic plus OTE of up to extra £10k uncapped.

Hours of Work: Full time, permanent.
