My client is a telecoms distributor providing a range of products and solutions to mainly SME businesses. Based in Wolverhampton, they have demonstrated consistent growth and expansion and are now looking for an Internal Sales Manager following an internal promotion.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in sales management within the telecoms industry and must:

  • Be highly proactive and self-motivated
  • Be a good relationship builder
  • Possess excellent leadership and negotiation skills
  • Be a strategic thinker
  • Have excellent communication and listening skills and be a good coach and mentor
  • Be able to identify, generate and close new business
  • Be commercially aware

This post reports to the company Director and holds responsibility for creating and managing the best environment for the internal sales team to achieve sales targets, KPI metrics and customer service targets.

This will include:

  • Prepare and develop sales plans for team
  • Monitor, measure and manage daily activity – including call rates and gross margin achievement
  • Perform 1:1 meetings and coach team to success
  • Be a billing manager – selling range of products and services
  • Create leads for other elements of business
  • Manage complaints
  • Share ideas, knowledge and resources to help build a first-class sales force
