Are you seeking a role that can give you professional satisfaction while improving your quality of life?
My client is based in an area of outstanding natural beauty, in Aberdeenshire, where there is plenty of opportunity to enjoy the coast and outdoors in your leisure time. Many of us have reassessed things during these strange and trying times and can see ourselves simplifying, moving on, and enjoying the things we’ve found to be really important. This isn’t to say you’ll become a bare-foot beachcomber as the role demands a skilled and experienced Technical Manager who wants to play a pivotal part in the further growth of an already successful food manufacturing business.
If it’s been said that you’re a good leader who can capture the hearts and minds of your teams, then this could be the role for you. While strong management skills are required, leadership ability is essential to guide a largely long-term, loyal and committed workforce into new ways of working and thinking about the business.
We are seeking an experienced food industry quality professional who will be responsible for all aspects of quality control, quality assurance, customer and supplier quality, product compliance and quality leadership. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will also be adept at building relationships throughout the business to support their next stage of growth and development. This will include, for example, assisting the Site Manager with Process Development, Continuous Improvement, and Capital Investment Projects. This is a varied and interesting role, working with a team of dedicated and knowledgeable management team, that has ambitious plans for the future.
In a nutshell, we want somebody who has a solid food production background, good raw materials knowledge, an ability to liaise well with B2B and retail clients, and can bring the best out of people.
The role is offering a generous salary package of £55K - £65K + benefits and relocation assistance if required. Applications are welcomed from candidates based in the UK and Ireland, and internationally, with exceptional written and oral English language skills.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
If this sounds like you, and you like the look of the role, then please apply now to avoid disappointment. Email your CV to firstname.lastname@example.org with TECHNICAL MANAGER in the subject line.
